Mick Seca Survey

Civils Survey Manager

Mick has been working in construction and surveying since 1983. Mick trained as a Civil Engineering Technician in Scotland, where he worked on many sites, with major established construction companies. He then began working as a subcontractor for these companies as a freelance Site Setting Out Engineer (UK Engineering Surveying equivalent).

Mick moved to New Zealand with his family in 2006 and since then has worked with several companies on various large infrastructure projects as a Surveyor. Starting with the SH18 Greenhithe motorway, Hamilton Ring Road, the Island of Efate in Vanuatu, and then finally SH20 to SH1 in South Auckland. A contract in Western Australia was Micks next step, working at the Tropicana Gold Mine, with Ken Franklin (K & N Surveyors).

Mick also worked on the ‘SH16 Causeway Alliance’ while with Ken. After K & N ceased trading Mick joined a large Auckland Survey company as a Senior Surveyor. During this time, he worked on many jobs providing survey cover for many clients, in varied survey disciplines. Mick then joined Fulton Hogan on the NCI project in Albany.
